The Lord-General is the highest-ranking field commander of the Order of the Golden Sun, second only to the Emperor himself, who holds the ceremonial and supreme title of “The Burning Light” as Commander-in-Chief. The Lord-General acts as the supreme overseer of all military campaigns, ensuring that the vast forces of the Order remain disciplined, trained, and battle-ready.

Unlike the Emperor, whose authority encompasses the entire realm, the Lord-General’s power is focused purely on the military sphere. The Lord-General is responsible for the deployment, structure, and effectiveness of the Order both in peacetime and in war.

   • While the Emperor often leads the most critical battles personally, the Lord-General coordinates strategy, logistics, and troop movements across multiple fronts.

• In Richard’s reign, Princess Rosalia Baratheon and Prince Lucas Baratheon were named co-Lord-Generals, making them both supreme military leaders under Richard’s direct command.
